We ride through the Gothic QuarterPark Ciutadella and the Eixample neighbourhood towards Gaudís most appreciated magnum opus, the Sagrada Família. Here you have a stop where your guide will explain the details of this fascinating church and where you will get the chance to have a break, while you admire the cathedral. After the break we continue on dedicated bike lanes through the chic Eixample, passing two of the most emblematic buildings, Casa Miláand Casa Batlló and then back to the Gothic Quarter. On this tour you will hear anecdotes from Gaudís life. We will inform you so that you can perceive a deeper understanding of his fantastic architecture and gain an idea of how his four big passions influenced his style.

Option Two – Walking

This guided tour will explain every detail about the history of Barcelona from Roman times to the medieval period while you walk through the Gothic Quarter, which has a charm all of its own with its narrow, cobbled streets, wrought iron streetlamps and buildings that comprise hidden corners you can lose yourself in. Even a stroll through its squares has gloomy associations because the ancient parish cemeteries lie underneath.

The walk begins in Ciudadela Park, you will cross the El Born neighbourhood to go the Gothic Quarter next to Barcelona Cathedral, built in different artistic styles, Next to the important surviving sections of the Roman walls. To end the tour, close to the Cathedral, the plaça del Rei, a unique site, and the historic centre of power during the reign of the Catalan counts and monarchs. Beneath the square lies the remains of the Roman city of Barcino and the remains of the medieval city (Saló del Tinell, Capella de Santa Àgata or Mirador del Rei Martí), above it.

** This tour will last for 2hrs and a transfer will be provided from the Hilton Hotel to the meeting point and return after the tour has ended**
