Michelle Gabriel

Head of GCP & GCP Inspector at Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency

Michelle is the current Head of GCP and a GCP Inspector at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) having joined in November 2020. Since joining the Agency Michelle has conducted a wide range of routine and triggered GCP inspections across commercial, non‑commercial sponsor, investigator and delegated service provider organisations. Her work focuses on ensuring the highest standards of participant safety, data integrity, and regulatory compliance across the clinical research landscape. Prior to joining the agency Michelle had 15 years of experience focussed on academic/non-commercial clinical trials in trial and project management roles. Michelle holds a BSc in Biological Science and an MSc in Clinical Trials.
